Bio

Writer, editor and journalist for Web sites and daily, weekly and monthly print publications in the Puget Sound area since 2000. I've worked as a staff reporter and editor, as well as freelancer, for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Previously I worked for newspapers in Northern California and Oregon.

I am interested in producing quality stories and content for online and print platforms.

You can see a wide range of my work at shoreline.patch.com (Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Patch part of the Patch.com network) and www.heraldnet.com (home of The Everett Herald and former home of The Enterprise Newspapers).  Search for 'Tony Dondero.'

As far as education goes, I have B.A. in Politics from Whitman College, 1996, and an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College, 2010 and am nearing completion of a Grants Writing Certificate from Seattle Central Community College. I have also attended numerous writing and journalism workshops and seminars. I also was a Foundation of American Communications Economics fellow in 1999. I grew up in Forest Grove, Ore. and graduated from Forest Grove High School.
